- Purpose
- Our main mission is to study the effects of unstable conditions and trauma (due to explosions, war, political instability) on societies and how people are able to cope with the hideous circumstances they are facing. The research is mostly concentrated on the middle east as it has been a region of major political, economical, and general instability over the last decades. Our lab offers a space for UC San Diego undergraduates to apply their knowledge and gain experience at their own pace while still contributing to research that is related to their field of interest.
