- Purpose
- The goal of Triton India Club would be to provide a platform to discuss and engage ideas related to education, industry, society, culture, arts, and music from the lens of India. We aim to bring together Indian-origin students at UC San Diego while conducting activities for everyone that would truly promote the idea and culture of India - one of multiculturalism, inclusivity, and belongingness. The platform would be used to invite speakers from a wide range of domains - Arts, STEM, Public Policy, History, Economics, etc. to present their ideas. The organization will celebrate various festivals embodying the Indian spirit. The organization aims to be a representative body for the Indian community, and will strive to provide a platform that includes everyone.
