- PISA was established to connect the Pasifika student body at UC San Diego to create a sense of community as we are one of the smallest minorities in attendance at the university. PISA's mission is to provide a sense of community for students who identify as Pacific Islander or wish to be a part of and learn about the Pacific Islander community. PISA seeks to promote and perpetuate its mission through education, diversity, justice, community, and respect for Pacific Islander cultures
