- Purpose
- SPARK is a science outreach program created to increase awareness and improve education about important scientific processes. SPARK's purpose is to reduce disparities in scientific literacy through an interactive program that targets middle school students in underserved communities. We hope to inspire students to think critically about taking advanced science courses in high school. This will hopefully positively influence their major choice in college and career trajectory. Ultimately, our goal is to provide students with information and resources relevant to careers in STEM in an effort to achieve equality within this dynamic and multifaceted field.
