- Students for Socialist Revolution is committed to Marxism's philosophy and social theory and supports progressive candidates and movements outside of the two-party system committed to change. Students for Socialist Revolution declares its intention to educate interested students in Marxist theory and increase the participation of college students in progressive causes. To this end, Students for Socialist Revolution shall educate UCSD students about the fundamentals, history, and application of Marxist theory, through regular meetings, public discussions, and occasional guest speakers.
