Purpose
The purpose of Public Health Brigades at UCSD is to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to learn about global public health and gain meaningful, hands-on experience through community-based initiatives. Through its partnership with Global Brigades, the organization connects students with international communities to better understand diverse health needs and contribute to sustainable public health efforts. PHB aims to foster culturally aware, socially responsible, and globally engaged students who are prepared to apply their knowledge and skills to public health challenges beyond the UCSD campus.
