Purpose
The purpose of Triton Lunabotics is to provide students with hands-on experience in the design, development, and operation of robotic systems for lunar and planetary environments. The organization’s primary focus is developing a lunar excavation robot for the NASA Lunabotics Challenge while building students’ skills in mechanical design, electronics, embedded systems, autonomy, software, design, project management, and leadership.
