Purpose
Figure Skating at UC San Diego is a community for students who love the ice, whether you've been skating for years or are just getting interested in the sport! Our team features two components: a competitive team and a social team. Our social team is open to students of all skating levels and experience, while our competitive team is open to skaters who meet specific skill requirements and are interested in participating in collegiate competitions. Competing is not required to be part of the club, and there are plenty of ways to get involved both on and off the ice. We host social events throughout the year, including skate nights, craft events, and our big-little program. While we do not provide skating lessons or coaching, we are happy to provide resources for students who are interested in learning to skate. Whether you're a longtime skater or simply looking to get involved in the figure skating community, we'd love to have you!
