Purpose
This organization shall advocate for all professionals and students enrolled in the Master of Data Science (MDS) and Master of Applied Science in Data Science Engineering (MAS-DSE) programs. Given the programs’ part-time nature, this organization will focus on supporting students abroad and locally by creating opportunities to connect online and in-person regional meet ups, community events, and professional support. These are part-time graduate programs, thus this organization will support working professionals as well as full-time students with resources and events that are aligned with their personal or career goals. Part of this hybrid initiative will involve maintaining a strong relationship with alumni to further foster a network that supports current students beyond graduation.
