Purpose
Operation Smile at UC San Diego is dedicated to educating students and the broader community about the challenges children with cleft lip and palate face worldwide. Our goal is to work to close the gap in access to a life-changing surgery. Our club will provide members with the opportunity to raise funds to support corrective surgeries, speech therapy, and other essential resources for the families affected. Through awareness campaigns, fundraising events, and community outreach, we aim to help bring this treatable condition the care so many children still lack.
