Purpose
DataWorks at UC San Diego is a pre-professional student organization dedicated to providing students with hands-on experience in data science, analytics, and computational problem-solving through project-based collaboration with companies, startups, nonprofits, and other organizations. The organization aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application by enabling students to work in teams on practical data projects, develop technical and professional skills, and gain exposure to industry-relevant practices across a variety of sectors.
