Purpose
SOLARIA Venture Capital at University of California San Diego (UCSD) is a student-led organization that aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop new ideas as start-ups, to create an understanding for students to become investors or entrepreneurs, and to foster an environment where founders, investors and innovators are connected. As a member of SOLARIA Venture Capital, you will have access to hands-on experience in the financial industry including market analysis and strategies used by venture capital firms. In addition, you will also be able to establish relationships with peers in finance, business, and entrepreneurship which can help you achieve your long term goals in these areas. SOLARIA Venture Capital's objective is to allow students to turn their ideas into successful ventures through education, mentoring, and collaboration. We want to develop an environment where entrepreneurialism and financial knowledge flourish, enabling our members to grow and achieve their full potential.
