Purpose
The Young People's Alliance at UC San Diego is a nonpartisan movement of students across the US, fighting for youth voices in politics. We mobilize young people to get engaged in politics through student voter registration, election turnout promotion, various civic engagement events, and opportunities to advocate to policymakers. We plan to host guest legislator speaker events, debate & election couch parties, and voter registration drives at UC San Diego every quarter to engage young people in politics. We also support youth-based advocacy across the US, advocating for innovative initiates to increase youth power in US politics.
