- Purpose
- The Student HOMES Coalition seeks to end student homelessness through legislative advocacy. Collaborating with student groups, non-profits, and legislators, we develop policies to advance student tenants’ rights, fund affordable housing, and promote the development of on and off-campus housing. We also work directly with local officials to implement innovative solutions to student housing issues in campus communities. Finally, we collaborate with professors to expand the availability of housing research and curriculum on our university campuses. Through these avenues of advocacy, activism, and education, we hope to make it so that every student has a safe and affordable place to call home during their time in college.
