- Purpose
- Tritons for HHT Awareness at UC San Diego is a student organization committed to raising awareness of Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT), a rare and underdiagnosed genetic vascular disorder. Our mission is to educate students, future healthcare providers, and the broader community about the clinical features, diagnostic challenges, and treatment considerations surrounding HHT. As the only student-led HHT organization in the UC system, we strive to bridge the gap between genetics, public health, and patient-centered care, highlighting how early awareness can change outcomes.
