Purpose
A. Medical School for Kids Outreach Chapter is a student-led community service organization that aims to introduce children to the world of healthcare and medicine. Through interactive events such as Mini White Coat Ceremonies, Teddy Bear Clinics, and Health & Hygiene Fairs, the chapter aims to educate and inspire the next generation about medical sciences in a fun and engaging manner. The organization will provide hands-on experiences that promote medical knowledge and healthy lifestyles among children in the San Diego community. B. This chapter operates in partnership with Dr. Brandon Pham and Dr. Betty Nguyen, authors of the Medical School for Kids series. We shall incorporate their book series “Medical School for Kids” to enhance the educational content and outreach of our activities.
