Purpose
The Boogie Board Club at UC San Diego is dedicated to building a fun and inclusive community centered around the joy of boogie boarding and beach life. Our mission is to bring students together to enjoy San Diego’s coastline — especially La Jolla Shores and Black’s Beach — through regular boogie boarding sessions, beach days, and social activities. When the waves are good, we’ll post on social media to notify members of spontaneous boogie boarding meetups. In addition to riding waves, our members will also enjoy hanging out at the beach together, playing games, relaxing, and listening to music. The club emphasizes both the thrill of boogie boarding and the laid-back social vibe of the beach, making it a space for beginners and experienced riders alike to connect and have fun. Everyone is welcome!
