Purpose
Sports Care, Ortho & Pre-health Exploration or SCOPE at UC San Diego is dedicated to exploring the surgical and orthopedic dimensions of sports-related injuries through education, skill-building, and professional networking. Through these three pillars, we provide students with opportunities to gain insight into a surgical career, develop practical skills, and engage with medical professionals. Our mission is to foster a community of aspiring healthcare leaders while making the highly restricted world of surgery more accessible to undergraduate students.
