Purpose
The Bioengineering Graduate Society (BEGS) aims to be an interface for bioengineering graduate students at UC San Diego, their department, and the local community. Since its creation in 1994, the BEGS mission is to foster professional, educational, and social development opportunities through relationships with industry, alumni, and students. BEGS is a graduate student-run organization with the aid of the Bioengineering Department.
