- Purpose
- The Undergraduate Communication Society (UCS) provides Communication majors and related fields with opportunities to build connections, develop skills, and explore career paths. By working closely with faculty, UCS helps students learn more about the major, gain professional guidance, and discover post-graduation possibilities. Through social and academic events, community outreach, and an active social media presence, UCS fosters a supportive community within the department and across UC San Diego. Students can also join committees including Graphic Design, Public Relations, Event Planning, Social Media, Administration, and Media Journalism to gain hands-on experience and grow in areas that match their interests.
