- Purpose
- The goal of the Eastern European Society (EES) at UC San Diego is to bring together its Eastern European students and allow for them to form a sense of community among each other through informational sessions, socials, and cultural events! This club will help the Eastern European students build a sense of belonging on campus by meeting culturally similar students, allowing them to feel at home at school. The EES seeks to promote the unity of Eastern European students through various methods, which includes but is not limited to educational general body meetings, social activities, and informational social media posts. Members of the EES will benefit from socializing with students of the same or similar backgrounds, learn more about their own and surrounding cultures, and build lifelong friendships.
