Purpose
The purpose of the organization shall be to promote and celebrate the art of African American Vernacular dance originating from the 1920s and 1930s (colloquially referred to as “swing dance”). The organization aims to educate students about the dance itself, as well as the history and cultural significance of Lindy Hop and other swing dances while fostering an inclusive and welcoming space for all individuals.
