Purpose
College can often bring stress and unnecessary turmoil from schoolwork, so Mic Drop Karaoke Club at UC San Diego exists to offer students a fun and relaxing outlet. I understand that not everyone has the time to commit to a full musical theater production, but if you still want to practice your singing skills without the demands of a full show, this is the perfect opportunity. My club is a space to unwind through song, whether you’re a casual singer or an experienced performer. There’s no pressure or demand, just show up, sing when you want, and enjoy the moment. I welcome everyone to join and take a break from the hectic side of student life.
