Purpose
Triton Tutors is an initiative dedicated to reducing educational disparities and empowering K-12 students in underserved communities across San Diego. We aim to provide free, flexible tutoring services through both virtual and in-person sessions, with a focus on developing long-term mentorships that foster academic mastery and critical thinking skills. By connecting UC San Diego volunteer tutors with local students, our goal is to create a supportive learning environment that prepares students for future academic and career success, thus contributing to a more equitable educational landscape in San Diego.
