- Gender Minorities in Bioengineering at UC San Diego is a non-profit, student-run organization committed to advancing the academic and professional careers of women and other marginalized genders in bioengineering at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral-levels. Our mission is to promote diversity within the scientific community by facilitating events that strengthen the involvement of marginalized genders in STEM. We generate opportunities to best serve the interests of our members and the broader community so that we can shape a more diverse future.
