- Purpose
- Project Icarus aims to tackle the rising melanoma rates in the homeless population of San Diego. Sunny San Diego has a higher-than-average rate of melanoma among its residents which translates to the homeless population as well. Project Icarus aims to tackle this problem by providing shielding products such as sunscreen and clothing to the homeless population as well as tackling the mental health crisis by providing therapy sessions.
