- Purpose
- The purpose of La Jolla Shores Cleanup at UC San Diego is to host regular beach cleanups at La Jolla Shores. We work with the nonprofit organization I Love a Clean San Diego to keep litter from entering the ocean from our beaches. Litter is not only unsightly, but also a hazard to wildlife and human health. We work to keep our local beach beautiful and safe for our community’s enjoyment.
