Purpose
Caribbean and Afro-Latinx Student Association at UC San Diego is dedicated to transcending boundaries through education, celebration, and empowerment. Our mission is to enrich the campus community by providing a platform for the vibrant cultures and experiences of the Caribbean and Afro-Latinx diaspora. We strive to illuminate the rich tapestry of Caribbean and Afro-Latinx heritage through educational initiatives, cultural events, and dialogue. By amplifying voices, stories, and talents, we aim to foster understanding, appreciation, and solidarity within and beyond our university walls. As stewards of history and agents of change, we aim to leave a lasting legacy on UC San Diego, marking our presence with a resounding "we were here." We are committed to building a more inclusive and equitable campus where all voices are heard and valued.
