- The Jail Outreach Program at UC San Diego aims to provide STEM classes in local incarceration facilities as a way to prevent recidivism in our San Diego community. Previously, we have received grants to create scholarship programs for previously incarcerated people. Additionally, our program increases science literacy in the community.
