Purpose
The African Graduate Students Association at UC San Diego serves as a vibrant and inclusive community for graduate students of African descent and those interested in African culture and issues. It aims to foster academic and social connections, promote cultural awareness, and provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and engagement surrounding African heritage, scholarship, and global relevance. Through events, discussions, and collaborative initiatives, the association celebrates the diversity and richness of Africa while supporting its members in their academic pursuits and personal growth.
