Purpose
The purpose of La Jolla Shores Cleanup at UC San Diego is to host regular beach cleanups at La Jolla Shores. We hold quarterly cleanups to keep litter from entering the ocean from our beaches. Litter is not only unsightly, but also a hazard to wildlife and human health. We work to keep our local beach beautiful and safe for our community’s enjoyment.
