Purpose
Our organization hopes to improve the development and implementation of diagnostic tools, in order to allow for early detection of immune-related diseases, especially liquid-biopsy diagnosis of cancer, SARS-CoV-2, and more. The fundamental goal of this student organization is to empower and fund undergraduate students to pursue research in this field by connecting them with related project mentors and funding to undertake projects which further the blossoming field of disease diagnostics. In addition, we hope to provide more opportunities and a space for undergraduate students to increase their experience in biology research. Students will have the opportunity to present and compete with their research projects in national competitions while gaining access to unique opportunities to learn more about other cutting edge research in the field of diagnostics.
