- The purpose of Wishmakers on Campus is to carry out the mission of the Make-A-Wish© San Diego, which is to “together we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.” The specific goals of Wishmakers on Campus are to provide University of California, San Diego students the opportunity to volunteer, foster leadership skills, learn money management, encourage community involvement, and to fundraise and lead projects to fulfill the mission of the Make-A-Wish San Diego.
