- uCHARM aims to educate the community about antimicrobial resistance while inspiring and equipping members to pursue a career in fighting drug resistance. Close interaction with industry experts, UC San Diego researchers, and public health officials are a strong emphasis. Members of this club will also improve scientific skills by learning how to read academic papers, conversing with professors, and writing their own articles about a relevant subject. Additionally, members will gain knowledge about the potential career opportunities in the field of stopping antimicrobial resistance.
