- Purpose
- To enrich the student community of UCSD with the awareness of Chinese culture through the art of dance. Our purpose is to create an atmosphere of artistic and creative expression for everyone. CDA practices Chinese dance with emphasis on ballet techniques, but continues to keep the essence of Chinese culture in the pieces. In order to spread multi-cultural acknowledgment, CDA uses dance to celebrate the individual creativity and artistic collaboration.
