Purpose
The Students of Color for Environmental Justice at the University of California, San Diego seeks to provide communities of color a learning and healing space that works at the intersections of race, identity, class, and gender. The group will actively work towards increasing the representation of people of color in the environmental and wilderness sectors in an effort to alleviate the marginalization these communities have historically experienced in these fields.
