Purpose
Food Recovery Network at UCSD aims to divert food waste and feed those facing food security at UC San Diego and in the greater San Diego community. We create partnerships with food donors on and off campus to run weekly recoveries. We deliver to organizations that help those in need like the Triton Food Pantry, The Hub, and Urban Street Angels. Through our efforts and activism, we help break the cycle of food waste and hunger and educate the community on how to build a more sustainable food system.
