Purpose
It’s On Us at UC San Diego is a collegiate chapter of the national social movement It’s On Us, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness and fighting against sexual assault on college campuses in the United States. The purpose of It’s On Us at UC San Diego is to combat sexual violence within the UCSD community by engaging students on topics of sexual assault awareness, survivor support and bystander intervention, and to provide resources and guidance to student survivors undergoing university Title IX processes. Areas of our work include, but are not limited to: consent, sexual assault prevention, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and Title IX education. It’s On Us at UC San Diego will will fulfill its purpose through educational panels, outreach and service projects, open forums and guided discussions on sexual assault prevention, and activism and advocacy.
