Purpose
The Bio-Optimization Society at UCSD (BIOS) aims to provide an open forum for education about and discussion of bio-optimization strategies, research, and current events with students and faculty through academic opportunities, talks and other activities. We define bio-optimization as the use of targeted supplementation, nutrition, exercise, biorhythm-tracking technologies, personalized genomics, and other strategies to improve one's cognition and overall health. The Bio-Optimization Society at UCSD will empower its members to improve their quality of life through applied knowledge of various strategies for physiological self-improvement.
